Open letter to Myanmar President U Thein Sein from Myanmar ethnic organizations based in Thailand
U Thein Sein
President
Naypyidaw
Republic of the Union of Myanmar
Subject : Calls for Myanmar Government to take prompt action immediately and
decisively to investigate the Bengali immigrants so-called Rohingya entering
Myanmar illegally and their genocide crimes and terrorism upon local Myanmar
ethnic groups.
Our stand is that we don't accept any terrorism. We strongly denounce these
current terrorists's acts of so-called Rohingya Bengali who killed Myanmar ethnic
minority in Maung-Daw region & Rakhine state's capital, Sittwe as well.
Since last Friday, 8th June 2012, these so-called Rohingya Bengali Muslims are
targeting peaceful Myanmar Arakanese(Rakhine) Buddhist minority in Maung-
Daw by setting fire on Buddhist, Hindu Myanmar ethnic villages, houses and
Buddhist monasteries. All Myanmar people have to flee from the attack of so-
called Rohingya Bengalis. These terrorist threaten our national security. Many
people have criticized the Government's lack of control & management to protect
the country & its people. Government was working very slowly on this crisis &
security forces were not allowed to take action even though they saw those Bengali
Rohingya are committing crime such as setting fire the many houses in many area
& killing non-Bengali Muslims. That's why this crisis was spread to many regions
within a couple of days. We are deeply feel sadness for victims who lost their life,
belongings, shelters and land seriously.
Because of this situation, we, all of Myanmar ethnic organizations based in
Thailand, calls for Myanmar president U Thein Sein to take action immediately
following demand.
1. To take prompt action immediately and decisively to investigate the Bengali
immigrants so-called Rohingya entering Myanmar illegally and their crimes and
terrorism upon local Myanmar ethnic groups.
2. To issue a statement that so-called Rohingya is not existing in the Myanmar
ethnics list & to investigate immediately the connection between so-called Bengali
Rohingya & international terrorists group such as Al-Qaeda, Jemaah Islamiyah
Islamist & jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh.
3. To protect the whole Rakhine state, western Myanmar by setting up security
points & enough security forces & army where have being under attacked by
Islamic terrorists groups. Government must try to stable & to maintain law & order
in that region as soon as possible.
4. To support food, water & shelters for refugees who are victims of terrorists, and
to support everything they need so that they can stay back in their home & land
securely.
5. Bengali Muslims so-called Rohingya population is getting higher days by days
& raised to 97% within Maung-Daw & Butheetaung because of illegal immigration
issue hopefully Mr president may knew this too. So please investigate this
corruption of past years by government officers worked in the Myanmar-
Bengaladesh.
